Electric personnel carrier for elevator installers
The false car is installed in the elevator shaft and carries your team and their tools through most stages of the job, from rail and bracket fixing to landing doors. It replaces floor-by-floor scaffolding with a safe, comfortable place to work.
Wire-rope hoists that pass the rope through the unit, so the false car can climb the full height of the building on a single rope run.

How it fits together
Barricades go up at each open landing door before work starts in the shaft.
The WOS / false car is hung from the top of the shaft on wire rope.
Electric reeving hoists move the false car floor by floor as rails and doors are fitted.
